Acid and water-based stains that color the concrete itself - never peels, never flakes.
If you want concrete staining in Orange County, the color goes into the concrete, not on top of it. Acid stains create variegated, mottled tones; water-based stains offer a wider color palette with more uniform results. Either way, the color can't peel or flake because it's a chemical reaction with the slab.
Pressure wash, degrease, and lightly etch or grind to open porosity.
Acid stains sprayed/brushed in two coats; water-based stains applied per manufacturer spec.
Baking soda solution rinse to stop the chemical reaction.

Acid stain holds up to OC sun better than most paint-on coatings because the color is in the concrete itself; UV simply can't degrade it. We do recommend a polyaspartic sealer for any stained outdoor surface to lock in slip resistance and prevent efflorescence.

Acid stain is functionally permanent because the color is a chemical reaction. The sealer above it can wear and need re-coating every 5–10 years; the color underneath stays.
With water-based stains, yes - we can match most paint codes. With acid stains, you're limited to the 8–12 reactive tones.
